      Beef is a quality protein that is high in vitamin E. Our beef is sourced from certified ranches that humanely raise beef on pasture – never in a feedlot, without antibiotics or added hormones.

    • Carrots

      Carrots are a good source of vitamin A from beta-carotene, bitamin B6, biotin, and fiber. Our carrots are non-GMO.

    • Kale

      Kale is a good source of vitamins A, B7 (biotin), C, K, minerals like folate, calcium, potassium, manganese, and antioxidants like carotenoids including lutein, zeaxanthin, and fiber.

    • Beef Liver

      Beef liver is a palatable organ meat that provides a good source of nutrients like fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. It also contains iron. Our beef is sourced from certified ranches that humanely raise beef on pasture – never in a feedlot, without antibiotics or added hormones.

    • Zucchini

    Favorable, but the jury is still out

    "I’ve been making food for one of my dogs who is allergic to much, chicken being #1. She is only 6 lbs. Your company has an excellent reputation so I wanted to give it a try. She doesn’t like the kibble. My other dog will eat that. She does like the topper. I’ll give her only one on top of your frozen food, thawed of course. This is the morning of the third day of trying. She is eating it, hesitant at first, but then with gusto. The only reason I didn’t give you five stars is because she is having a midnight bathroom run. It’s not diarrhea, so I am hopeful that this will pass. Beef and salmon are the choices I’ve picked for her."

    Beef and Surf and Turf gently cooked

    "The food is clearly visibly gently cooked. No dark colored burn color. Both my dogs love this food, one dog a 3 year old black Lab, and my other dog, a 14 year old mixed Sharpei. You can actually see the vegetables in the food. I’ve been feeding my dogs this food for quite a while, at least 2 years, I think. I usually mix it with other Open Farm dog foods, especially the freeze dried nuggets in different flavors. My dogs do very well on these foods and they eat it all to the bottom of the bowl."

    "We've been using the Open Farm gently cooked food as a topper for our pup's kibble. She's a very picky eater, and usually will eat this. It actually smells decent, and you can see the real food in it. Gently cooked seems safer than raw food to me."

    "Finally found a food my dog will eat. My 3 year old Goldendoodle is a picky eater and she loves it. I was always buying high grade nutritious food for her. She would eat it for a week and then turn up her nose at it. Meanwhile thinking I found a food she like I would go out or order about a months worth to save money and she then would decide she didn't like it. I would then donate the food to a rescue society not to waste it. I tried kibble, freeze dried, frozen, canned, you name it. I even was cooking just for her and eventually she stopped eating that too. I tried a few packets of Gently Cooked open farm from the pet food store. She ate it! I ordered a box on line which was almost a months supply and she ate that too! I am now on my fourth months supply and she is still eating it!!! I am delighted. No more giving away dog food. I have even bought their kibble and she eats that too. Can't say enough about this food."
