Open Farm's "Lower Carbon Options" collection highlights our products with the lowest estimated GHG emissions, each of which emits 1kg CO2e or less per lb of product. As part of Open Farm's mission to increase transparency with our customers, a screening-level Life Cycle Assessment by an independent third party was completed for each of our products, producing a high-level estimate of GHG emissions associated with each product (in kg CO2e per lb). We have used this screening assessment as a first step to improving our transparency but recognize that this is a work in progress, and we are at the very early stages of this journey. This means that our estimates may change over time based on updates to our inputs, processes, or calculation methodology.
