Recently we were made aware of the presence of bone pieces that appear larger than they typically do in one batch of our Homestead Turkey Rustic Stew. These reports were isolated in nature. We are always purposeful with the ingredients we use and strive to provide the best possible nutrition. We include turkey frames as an ingredient in our rustic stews as they provide a good source of turkey meat in addition to bone, marrow, and cartilage. They are cooked in a process that applies heat and pressure to render them safe for consumption and are included as a source of calcium and phosphorous. While bone is an intended ingredient in this recipe, in these limited cases, the product appearance did not meet our high standards for product consistency.
So, why are we sharing this? We want to be transparent with our customers (you!) when one of our products doesn’t look and feel like we intended. We know that the consistency of our products is critical to your pet’s experience, and given that a limited part of this product batch fell short in that department, we wanted to let you know. While this product is safe to feed your pets, we also want to provide you the option of returning this product for a full refund under our 100% Product Satisfaction Gaurantee.
